2019 Pinot Noir, Fennwood Vineyard
Yamhill-Carlton District, Oregon
The 2019 Fennwood Pinot Noir has a beautiful garnet hue. The nose offers a medley of fresh cherries and strawberries with a touch of vanilla and pepper. On the palate cherries, cranberries, and currants swirl with a touch of sweet clove and coconut. The mouthfeel is a little chalky and balanced by the bright acidity. Pair this with a Salmon fillet, roasted chicken or your favorite creamy pasta

Vineyard Notes
Fennwood Vineyard was planted in 2007 & 2008 according to Willamette Valley pioneer David Adelsheim’s vision to match each soil series and elevation change to specific variety, clone, and rootstock. This careful planning and execution led to a very complex vineyard layout that enhances the potential success of each block.
Food Pairing Notes
The lushness of this Pinot calls for rich dishes like duck or cassoulet. It would also be an excellent choice for coq au vin.
